Pittsburgh Youth Mental Health Coalition
On May 19th, we will be hosting a convening - the Pittsburgh Youth Mental Health Coalition that the Citrone 33 Foundation is organizing to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month and Mental Health Action Day. Our vision for the event, which will be held at PNC Park, is that we will bring subject matter experts together with those in Pittsburgh who can make a difference on this important issue.

EMBRACE Pittsburgh and The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation teamed up to help you Cope with COVID. Together, we’ve created a series of videos – MindHacks – that include skills and drills to help you through this stressful time. Our friends, Troy Polamalu, Colby Armstrong and Bryan Rust appear in the first video and share tips on how to self-soothe, one of our favorite skills. MindHacks is a series of short-form family-oriented videos that offer coping skills based from dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Funding for selected U Prize initiatives ranges from $33 to $3,300 as the starting point.
